Law Enforcement Agency Towing

STAR Auto Recovery provides towing, impounding, and storage services to the Tampa Police Department when a motor vehicle operator has been arrested, is unlicensed, uninsured, or when the vehicle has been illegally parked, abandoned, stolen and recovered, or is unregistered. STAR Auto Recovery has the service capacity of towing cars, trucks, buses, motor homes, tractor-trailers, motorcycles, etc... The company also conducts lien sales and auctions when owners fail to claim their vehicles within a period prescribed by law (typically between 30 and 90 days).

STAR Auto Recovery has the capability to assist with natural disasters throughout Southeastern United States. We have 2 Medium Duty Wreckers (10,001 - 26,000lbs) 1 Heavy Duty / Recovery Unit (26,001 - 45,000lbs) , 2 and 4 Car Carriers. STAR Auto Recovery is also equipped with mobile housing units to house our employees on-site during disaster recovery.

Insurance Salvage Towing

STAR Auto Recovery provides towing and transport services for damaged or destroyed vehicles, and vehicles otherwise subject to an insurance claim. In addition we provide transport to  salvage auctions.
